Church Access List
A resource to empower individuals with disabilities and their families to identify churches that accommodate their needs, ensuring they feel welcome and included in their spiritual community.
Such a list fosters a sense of belonging by connecting people to places where they can participate fully in worship and other activities. It can also serve as a guide for organising events or gatherings that require accessible venues.
Our projects have three strands:
- Reachout Inclusion – raising churches’ awareness of how to achieve disability inclusion.
- Reachout Everyone – reaching out to wider communities to show disabled people of all ages that churches extend a welcome to everyone.
- Reachout in God – providing opportunities for non-traditional worship formats for people best served by alternative settings and worship styles.
