Reachout Youth

After engaging with the head teacher of Park School and other key stakeholders, we discovered an exciting opportunity to support young adults aged 15 to 25 with ASN needs.

This fantastic group of individuals often sees their school peers as their primary community, as they come together from various areas.

Our goal is to foster peer support and a vibrant sense of belonging as they navigate the transition from school to the broader world. We’re thrilled to provide them with social interaction, essential life skills, and a multitude of fun activities to help them thrive!

Recognising the feelings of isolation that young people with special needs sometimes face is crucial. We are deeply committed to promoting equality and diversity within this group.

This project is designed to nurture connections, instil a sense of belonging, and boost their confidence in social settings.

We’re excited to offer a variety of engaging activities, such as game nights, movie nights, crafts, and enjoyable trips.

Together, we can create a warm and inclusive environment where everyone can shine!

Reachout Youth Gallery

Our projects have three strands:

  • Reachout Inclusion – raising churches’ awareness of how to achieve disability inclusion.
  • Reachout Everyone – reaching out to wider communities to show disabled people of all ages that churches extend a welcome to everyone.
  • Reachout in God – providing opportunities for non-traditional worship formats for people best served by alternative settings and worship styles.
